Hi,

i´ ve tested the latest upstream kernel and the release candidate kernel
(3.1.0-0301rc10).

Booth kernel freezes due to a crash of the fglrx module. So i
blacklisted fglrx and used the radeon with boot parameter nomodeset.
The result was a black screen.

I look at dmesg output and the hostbridge conflict still exists.

If it helps i will repeat the tests with an earlier release candidate.
I will repeat the tests with radeon driver only tomorrow.

I´ m going to update the apport report now.

Greetings
