Strange that it says Unity 3D unsupported as my previous session was
unity 3D.

I'm running Ubuntu under VirtualBox so it might be related to the 3D
acceleration support from VirtualBox acting up (The module vboxvideo
form the guest additions)

Thankfully the ctrl+alt+t shortcut to open a terminal still works in
this strange session so I can use a terminal to run commands and
programs freely.
