Additional info: I was not entirely correct about the poulsbo/psb_gfx blacklisting combinations. Poulsbo blacklisted and psb_gfx enabled results in a garbled screen that isn't even fixed by restarting X. All other combinations result in a garbled X that can be fixed by restarting X. There is a visible speed difference from enabling poulsbo.
A third bug I had after upgrading to oneric is #880865, resume failure under kernel 3.0.0, but that appears to be unrelated. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/880882 Title: X starts with garbled screen, restarting X from cli fixes To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/xorg/+bug/880882/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
