bwat47: I've noticed the same thing, but I'm not certain it is related
to the xorg driver. Last time it happened, I was looking at it in xev,
and getting weird data. Certain taps would send a flood of events with
weird button values between 4 and 6. I killed the x server and input-
events was reporting strange values on triple tap as well (usually
something like a double tap, triple tap followed by 5 or 7 position
updates all followed by syns and then the double/triple release).
Restarting the x server didn't help, which is what makes me think it
isn't related.

If I manage to reproduce it (happened after a suspend here too), I'll
attach the logs.
