Looking at the data presented above it seems to have been from a system running the 64 bit version, for the record I have the same problem with the 32 bit Ubuntu 11.10 on a Dell Vostro 1510. I don't think it should matter as the data in/out to an SD card is serial but I thought it may be worth mentioning. John
