Reproduced the bug again after about 5 more attempts. The common factor when the bug occurs is this message:
(gnome-settings-daemon:2108): Gdk-WARNING **: The program 'gnome-settings-daemon' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadMatch (invalid parameter attributes)'. (Details: serial 1265 error_code 8 request_code 3 minor_code 0) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) ** Attachment added: "xsession-errors.notheme2" https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/879793/+attachment/2571236/+files/xsession-errors.notheme2 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879793 Title: No GTK theme applied on login, should be Ambiance To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/879793/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
