** Description changed:
- When using alt-tab to switch between windows, it may lead to a situation
where the user doesn't know which tab is currently selected, because there are
many different highlights depending on WHICH application is opened, not their
states.
- This can lead to a condition where the user expects an application to be in
focus when it might not be true.
- See attached screenshot for clarification
- Observe that a quick glance of the Terminal Icon could lead one to interpret
it as having focus. Only the title being placed underneath the window gives it
away. But when a user is fast-switching to another window, they rely more on
quick visual clues than complete analysis of everything presented to them.
- Also, why is eog's icon highlighted in YELLOW(!) here?
+ In some cases it could be rather slow for the user to tell from a glance
+ at the alt-tab switcher to know which app have the focus. In the
+ attached screenshot gnome-terminal icon seems to be highlighted as well.
