Public bug reported: When performing software updates using the Update Manager, the "Applying Changes" window has a "Detail" area that can be expanded to view more info of the update process. However, now, when clicking on the Detail expand triangle, it only expands to one single-line-height black bar, instead of a terminal-like window to observe the update's progress. Maximizing the Applying Changes window does allow full view of the detail area.
