Public bug reported: In CompizConfigSettingsManager the "Preferences" link just above the "Close" button, when clicked, causes Ubuntu desktop to crash. The pullout panel on the left of the screen won't come out.Even after reboot it stays like that. I tested from fresh install and was able to replicate it. The operating system I am using is Ubuntu 11.10 . Error occurred 3 times (on October 26th, 2011)
