Hi Clint, thanks for the response. Actually the upgrade process did not delete the image. Also the images edited with an external editor (GIMP) were deleted. These images are stored with following name (german language): original.jpg becomes original_verändert.jpg in natty and in oneiric naming convention changed. edited photos are now saved as original_shotwell_verändert.jpg. So could be that changing the naming convention causes the edited photos to be deleted. But also the photos edited in shotwell (which are actually not saved as separate files) are reversed to the original version. My images are stored on a ntfs drive due to compatibility reasons with other operating systems. I will try to reproduce this, but meanwhile many of the natty-edited images are deleted and I do not know if I will find some none deleted files. I will send you the db file shortly.
