Interestingly when I started with metacity, the window was reset to a sane size and the problem with the "revert" dialog was no longer visible. I was also having the same issue with qdiff but it "fixed itself".
I removed ~/.bazaar/qbzr.conf and windows defaulted to a sane size. Even by setting the window wider 2 or 4 times the width of the display didn't reproduce it.
