I completly agree with Adam. This is a major bug for me, and one that
made me go back to 11.04. I'm a dual boot user and I need a clean  and
quick access to "restart".

Besides, that's at odds with the very spirit of Linux : all about having
choices.

And it would be great if, for once, Canonical could just for a second
listen to users. To have "restart" is no big deal: and it would make my
Ubunutu experience just greater.
