When programs is installed in ubuntu they simply don`t show up. Even programs
installed via synaptic. Take the atmel processor programming tools. But there
are quite many programs with the very same bahavieur.
And SKYPE........ that program stinks in ubuntu all versions. it would be very
nice tohave it. I am a radioamateur and skype is the preferd ham voip program.
it is the sound that does nor woork. I have used several soundcards. No matter
what card it won`t work ok. I know that quite many ham`s complain about it.
And further more I think that quite many ham`s have ubuntu....... and many
would have it if skype woorked out of the box.
