My motherboard is an Intel DG33FB. My BIOS version is DPP3510.86A.0484.2008.0805.2031.
UEFI boot was disabled in the BIOS settings so I enabled it. I no longer get the failure when GRUB installs. But the system still will not boot after the installation is complete.
