I built the oneiric package on oneiric and 2 of 4 hunks were rejected
but that patch works even without those parts. I thought it might not be
to hard to sync the patch to the oneiric patchset.
However - I must report that the patch avoids the OSD being cut off at
16:9 display but it becomes so small - its almost unreadable.
Since my bug report is about applying that patch I mark my own bug as
invalid.
