Public bug reported: Windows sometimes randomly resize themselves. Often, a maximized window will go rapidly between maximized and unmaximized states - as much as a few times per second. This happens both with windows that have focus and windows that do not have focus. However, unfocused windows that randomly resize themselves seem to take focus away from the current window. Another problem which is perhaps related is that the orange window frame, which Unity uses when placing a window in a corner or against the edge of the screen, randomly appears and does not go away until one grabs a different window and drags it to the edge of the screen. A screen grab of this happening is attached.
