Public bug reported:

Hitting Super and typing the first few letters of the application I want
to start frequently fails when I'm doing it too fast. Instead the first
file search result gets opened. If I wait a bit after typing (less than
a second), then the application starts like expected.

Computer is fast, dash opens fast, so I don't think _that_ is the
problem.

Maybe realted: bug 841254 and bug 749428.
