Well, I've been having this very same problem for a long while (I don't remember when - but I just came across a post http://ubuntuforums.org/archive/index.php/t-1604695.html where they describe it first appearing in lucid - that sounds about right for me). So it was in lucid, maverick, natty, and now oneiric. Seems that at least one of those must be supported!
I'm habitually using dual screen and compositing windows manager (compiz), but turning that off (only for a little while) didn't seem to fix it. As per the suggestion in #56, I've opened a new bug https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/887171 -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/420424 Title: [Hewlett-Packard HP EliteBook 6930p] suspend/resume failure To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/420424/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
