Hmmm --- I have installed manually it: fglrx-amdcccle-updates 2:8.881-0ubuntu6.1 fglrx-updates 2:8.881-0ubuntu6.1
(and still additional drivers says that it's not activated). Maybe it's expecting a module called fglrx-updates when the module is called simply fglrx? (wild guess). The first relevant WARNING in jockey.log file is: : modinfo for module fglrx_updates failed: ERROR: modinfo: could not find module fglrx_updates hmmm? The module I have installed says it's a 11.9 (is this correct?) BTW now it is working OK with Unity, not working with Gnome shell -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/873058 Title: Jockey fail to install binary ati driver (post release) version To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nvidia-common/+bug/873058/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
