Till, I have tried unsuccessfully to follow the instructions in the wicki to get the information you need. I have tried to follow the instructions but they are for Gnome and not Unity. As far as I can tell the instruction to go to Administration, etc. is no longer in Unity. I am very frustrated by this. I tried to use the terminal and was able to disable cups but then a dead end (see below).
I think there is a program to permit you to operate my computer remotely and that may be the best way to work this out. If so, what is the program and what information do we need to permit you to do this? I have followed the instructions in capturing print job section but when I follow instruction 2 ( cupsdisable) I can't complete instruction 3 to print the job since the printer no longer responds. Only when I follow instruction 6 does it respond.
