Public bug reported:

I have a system with Ubuntu 11.10 with dual monitors. I wanted to check Libre
Office under Hebrew and I found much more serious problems. I will include a
screen shot which I have cropped to show only the right hand edge of the main
monitor, together with the whole width of the secondary monitor. (I cropped it
to save space.)
You will be able to see that the Unity icons shift to the right hand side of
the screen. These icons stay on the main screen, while my desktop icons
(Netbeans etc) are shifted to the secondary screen. Note in the screen shot
that I have the cursor placed over the dashboard icon. The cursor is on the
main screen and the help saying "dashboard" is on the secondary screen where
the icon is apparently expected to be. This is clearly wrong.
MUCH, MUCH worse than this is what happens when I try to choose a program.
Originally I wanted to choose Libre Writer and noticed it wouldn't activate
itself. It turns out that it is true for ANY program, i.e. I can activate
absolutely nothing.
I changed to the usual Unity and the dashboard icon stays where it is in
English and I manage to activate any program I wish. So the problem is only in
Unity-2D

Thanks,
Ilan
