I got the same problem here, so by now, I am using the firefox nightly build which behaves much better, but isn't as responsive as firefox 7 on natty in comparison.
Chrome woks fine with oneiric, seamonkey does as well, only ff7 does not. One thing that might influence this is a client x509 certificate. We use this to authenticate against an internal Apache.
