Public bug reported: I was looking at why haskell-dpkg is FTBFS and noticed that the package is designed for earlier versions of libdpkg. It assumes that 'struct pkginfo' has 'name' and 'next' members.
As far as I can see, nowadays, it has an 'arch_next' member which I assume is the analog to 'next'. Not sure what the analog to 'name' is. It should be updated to build against the version of libdpkg in precise. https://launchpadlibrarian.net/85047406/buildlog_ubuntu-precise-i386 .haskell-dpkg_0.0.1-1_FAILEDTOBUILD.txt.gz ** Affects: haskell-dpkg (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: haskell-dpkg (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Tags: ftbfs ** Bug watch added: Debian Bug tracker #649518 http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=649518 ** Also affects: haskell-dpkg (Debian) via http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=649518 Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Tags added: ftbfs -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/893309 Title: FTBFS against latest libdpkg-dev To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/haskell-dpkg/+bug/893309/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
