Hi there,

The fix below worked, but the bug has returned:  after the most recent
kernel update (I think) I no longer have sound through my line-out jack.
 "Uname -r" returns: 2.6.35-31-generic-pae, but I see in the Synaptic
Package Manager that only up to 2.6.35-30 is listed for driver modules.

Will I just need to wait for an alsa driver update?
