Basically, this email states desktopcouch is unsupportable and I strongly encourage the desktop team to unseed it for 12.04 LTS. Also, on a side note, if evolution-desktopcouch is the only thing keeping it in main, the UbuntuOne addressbook hasn't worked for me in a long time (it was definitely broken for all of 11.10 (bug #816479 )), and in fact, I lost a bunch of contacts as a result.
