I just tried the 290.10 package but it doesn't solve the other issue I'm seeing (when the compiz desktop cube finishes a rotation, the windows of the previous face re-appear for a split second).
Sam Spilsbury in comment #157 said he has a fix, Sam, what's the status on that one?
