I have tried looking at the kernel.org site but though it seems to be active (the last date quoted seems to be 25 Nov 2011) but I can't see any search facility and the numbers may be "latest" releases not that used by Ubuntu. Any help would be nice, copying photo files from the SD card in Windows to then have to use a USB stick to get them into Ubuntu for my uses is annoying (not least being my desire to remove Windows Vista completely from the laptop).
