Avidemux crashes for me too. Here is how to reproduce the trouble: I Load a *.VOB file generated with a conventional digital video camera, which is stored under a secondary hard drive within the VIDEO_TS folder. I set the 'A' and 'B' marks in order to export a cropped portion to any format, such as plain AVI (but tried some others). I leave the Video and Audio settings set to 'copy'. then I try to save the project, choosing a folder on the harddisk disk (I tried same disk and a different one and checked that it can be both read and written). then the app throws an exception and crashes with the following message:
