I purged cinepaint, cinepaint-data and cinelib with Synaptic's purge command, and then installed cinepaint_0.21-2-0ubuntu4.1~proposed1_amd64.deb cinepaint-data_0.21-2-0ubuntu4.1~proposed1_all.deb and libcinepaint0_0.21-2-0ubuntu4.1~proposed1_amd64.deb.
