Public bug reported:

Steps to reproduce:

1. Install firefox-globalmenu
2. Activate the extension.
3. Start typing some bookmark name.
4. When the pop-up appears type further with random characters until pop-up
disappears.
5. After that focus is somewhere away from firefox: both typing and keyboard
shortcuts don't work.
