I had to install the packagekit_0.7.1-2_amd64.deb and the packagekit-backend-aptcc_0.7.1-2_amd64.deb wich makes huge dependency garbage because it depends on libapt-pkg4.10 and precise uses libapt-pkg4.11. After manualy copy the /usr/lib/libapt-pkg.so.4.10.1 (and symlink) from the apt_0.8.15.9_amd64.deb everything works fine (without warnings). -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/898891 Title: Error org.freedesktop.DBus.Error.TimedOut: Activation of org.freedesktop.PackageKit timed out To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/packagekit/+bug/898891/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
