Same issue present in Inkscape built with Gtk+/Quartz on Mac OS X and
the global menu bar integration (GtkOSXApplication from gtk-mac-
integration) -> possibly an upstream issue in Gtk+, not specific to the
global menu used in Ubuntu's Unity desktop?
