This affects all distro since Lucid which use a separate /boot
partition, which is the default configuration for systems installed with
LVM.

Now taking into account separate /var, /usr is a bit different, as this
is not a standard way of installing Ubuntu, even though it is totally
possible. Maybe adding the logic to take /usr and/or /var into account
should be added in the script, but this should be something decided by
the foundation team as it goes beyond bug fixing.
