There are two videos I found on YouTube of what seem to be related issues. First, a phantom orange box: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUVB33aIyv0&feature=related And next, a jittering window: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jRzZmgInmU&feature=related I would be very surprised if I'm the only one experiencing this window- resizing bug. My hardware is not uncommon, and the bug is specific to Unity running in Ubuntu 11.10. I've been using Gnome 3 with Ubuntu 11.10 now for about 3 weeks, and haven't experienced this bug since.
