I have the exactly same issues here on my computers running Ubuntu 11.10: Acer aspire one 532h with Intel Corporation N10 family and Acer Aspire R3610 with nVidia Corporation ION VGA.
One thing I notice is that if I go to System Definitions > System info, graphics there appear as UNKNOWN, don't know if it is related to bug or not, but it is weird since graphics info appears if I use command line: lspci. This happens in both machines. Hope someone can fix this, cause these are, for me, is much used to switch screens and change window from one screen to another. Also, I found that when I try to 'drag and drop' one window from one screen to other, the process never finishes...
