My thanks to grumbel for his PPA that finally got GIMP working with my Bamboo Connect with oneiric and input-wacom-0.12.0. As a photographer and web designer that's all Ubuntu, GIMP is a work requirement and to me "high" priority. Hopefully this all finds it's way into 12.04.
