Please test for this problem in LibreOffice. If using Lucid or Maverick feel free to type at the Terminal: sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa && sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get -y upgrade && sudo apt-get -y install libreoffice For more on LibreOffice installation, please see https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LibreOffice .
