Public bug reported: I have a Lenovo X300 with a Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN nic
If I connect to the Cisco Infrastructure WLAN in the office the WiFi connection connects for a period of time and then drops. In the same office we have a Apple Airport Express that I am able to stay connected via WiFi. The problematic connection is using the iwl4965 driver, is connected at 18 Mb/s and using WPA/WPA2 encryption. This seems similar to the following older bug, but the fact that I have two different WLANs and can isolate it to only the Cisco AP's suggests that it is a new defect. https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/277634 Description: Ubuntu 11.10 Release: 11.10 ** Affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/903953 Title: Intel Corporation PRO/Wireless 4965 AG or AGN drops connections consistantly To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/903953/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
