Having the same problem with Ubuntu 11.10,
Terrible skipping with BT audio, weird thing is that it works perfectly with
the same equipment if I use it through Windows 7. I've also tested this with an
other laptop with Win7 and Ubuntu 11.10 and the problem persists in Ubuntu.
Apparently the problem seems to have something to do with the usage of wlan,
but even with wlan disconnected it sometimes skips.
What's weird too is that the BT-audio used to work fine with older versions of
Ubuntu, so what has been done differently in the 11.xx versions BT? What is
slowing the Bluetooth transfer rate down?
Would be nice to get something out of this, wouldn't like to downgrade my
Ubuntu but soon will have to because the continuous skipping is really
annoying...
