After lots of updates I'd consider the issue fixed.
Setups are:
Desktop-pc - Oneiric - Unity 4.24.0 - cube-plugin
Laptop (which the bug was reported from) - Precise - Unity 4.24.0 - wall-plugin
Results:
Click on the desktop doesn't let conky disapper.
Alt+tab select 'desktop' lets conky disappear, but it reappears when alt+tab
'desktop' is selected again.
I'd consider this behaviour as expected. Thanks for your efforts.
