Public bug reported:

We are using apt_pkg as part of Lubuntu Software Centre, however we have
a minor problem.

Using an instance of PackageRecords(), the value for a package's
long_desc and short_desc fields are the same. The piece of code we are
using is attached. (Look at the function from line 500 onwards)

python-apt:
  Installed: 0.8.0ubuntu9
  Candidate: 0.8.0ubuntu9
  Version table:
 *** 0.8.0ubuntu9 0
        500 http://archive.ubuntu.com/ubuntu/ oneiric/main amd64 Packages
        100 /var/lib/dpkg/status

I'm actually using Mint 12 to submit this bug report, but this is a problem on
Lubuntu 11.10 too.
If we're just getting it wrong, call us idiots, then tell us how to use it. :)

Example output for blender of printing both the the long and short
description:

<snip>
Very fast and versatile 3D modeller/renderer
