I think so, My desktop has U Studio 11.04 and I have it set as a static ip using the init.d stuff. NM on that machine shows ath0 as "not managed" too. > Please confirm that this workaround works, but this would indeed be an > installer problem. I had thought of that, but figured even if that did work the install was still broken. However, I will try it on my next install. I will also be downloading ubuntu desktop (Alternate) and try that. I suspect the live CD version may not have this problem, just the alternate install. I haven't tried Xubuntu live CD, just the alt and it has this problem too. I don't really have the time to start trying live cd installs right now... the alts keep me busy enough. -- Len Ovens www.OvenWerks.net -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/901945 Title: network manager applet doesn't work in precise To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/network-manager/+bug/901945/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
