Public bug reported: I have been trying to upgrade from Ubuntu 11.04 to 11.10 for a day now. The "do-release-upgrade" kept reporting the the bash-completion deb file had a "Hash mismatch" when trying to download it from the mirrors. I then manually downloaded the file from a couple of mirrors and found all of them were the same. I then compared it to the file that was int he /var/cache/apt/partial folder and it differed. I then placed one of the files from the mirrors int he /var/cache/apt/ folder and the check-sum error went away and the upgrade continued.
