I do not agree with the fact that a user could unintentionally open the launcher. Although this *is* a problem with the launcher (for that I've changed the launcher revealing time from 0.15 to 0.4 seconds), this is however not a problem in this particular case, I'll explain.
When a user has opened a menu, normally by mouse, he will also use the mouse to actually choose a menu item: so the mouse cursor is always in the neighbourhood of the menu area. But when he decides to switch program (and thus neading the launcher), he intentially moves the mouse to the left side. The distance between the menu area and the launcher activation area (the left side) is that large, that this cannot be done unintensionally. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/910065 Title: Unhide launcher is not possible when a menu is open To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/910065/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
