Public bug reported: Binary package hint: scim
I don't really know what happened. I was just trying to install chinese input as described on the wiki (https://help.ubuntu.com/community/SCIM/Kubuntu?action=show). I would say this bug is a major annoyance, it makes me unable to use Kubuntu and I have to fallback on Ubuntu because I need to be able to use chinese input in a non-chinese locale.
