This situation doesn't seem to have changed, even though there has been another release of the Kernel, now 3.0.0-15.25, I'm not sure exactly what this change was supposed to cover but "built in" SD Card readers don't seem to be consided as "standard". Does this also apply to "built in web-cams and microphones" and the like? If it is the case I can see a lot of people moving to OSX or even Windows. John
