@Maciej S Try killing the process udisks-daemon before suspending. It seems that actually accessing (polling/reading) the dvd drive after a suspend/resume triggers this bug. I don't need the dvd drive anyway, so I blacklisted it for now for udisks-daemon through udev rules (see Bug #379780 if you're interested) but of course it's definitely not a permanent solution.
