After the motherboard and CPU uograde I started to experience
intermittent system frezes during the system boot process with
udevd[101]: timeout: killing '/sbin/modprobe -bv

message dispayed on screen (white on black, 'thick' system textmode
font, not 'thin' ubuntu console font). The PCI device mentioned above is
