Dear bug reporter, with newer NETKEY versions also NAT-T works out of the box so normally KLIPS is not needed anymore. Compilation of the KLIPS module now also works without patching the kernel by using openswan-modules-source and module-assistant or openswan-modules-dkms. If you do not mind I would close this bug as it seems already very aged...
