One can see that some of the default settings are conflicting and that one option has no default setting. This can lead to the printer refusing to print. This is a bug in the manufacturer-supplied PPD file, so not a Ubuntu bug. Please start system-config-printer (Click gear at the upper right, then "Printers" in the menu), right-click your printer's icon, and click "Properties" in the menu. Then, in the sections "Installable Options" and "Printer options", adjust the settings, once, that they correspond with how your printer is actually equipped, and second, so that the conflict markers disappear. Then you should be able to print again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/879933 Title: magicolor din't work with 11.10 but works in 11.04 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/cups/+bug/879933/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
